A major fire has completely destroyed the café “De nieuwe brug” on the East side in Zaandam.
The fire started on the first floor while the owners were on vacation.
The fire was quickly scaled up to very large fire because the surrounding houses were often made of wood on the outside.
The damage is large and the property can be considered lost.
